nj_eastern_pa_de_map.gifThe New Jersey-Eastern Pennsylvania-Delaware HERC (NJEPAD) , established  in 2005, is a non-profit organization composed of a diverse group of colleges and universities as well as research, medical, and cultural institutions. Member representatives include faculty, staff, human resources professionals, institutional leaders, and faculty relations experts. The NJEPAD HERC includes members from New Jersey, northeastern Pennsylvania, central Pennsylvania, southeastern Pennsylvania, and Delaware. The NJEPAD HERC is governed by an Advisory Board drawn from its member institutions and Princeton University serves as the lead institution.

East Coast HERC Regional Collaborative

The NJEPAD HERC is proud to be part of the East Coast HERC Regional Collaborative which was established in the spring of 2020 as HERC regions in the Northeast Coast pivoted from in-person events to provide virtual programming, meetings, and networking opportunities for our members.

The East Cost HERC Regional Collaborative is currently made up of the following HERC regions and HERC directors:

Metro New York & Southern Connecticut HERC, Karen Fife, Columbia University
New Jersey/Eastern Pennsylvania/Delaware HERC, Gilda Paul, Princeton University
Upstate New York HERC, Mary Jo Serafini, University at Buffalo

Regional and Dual Career Resources

A new career often involves decisions that affect the lives of individuals and families. The NJ/Eastern PA/DE HERC aims to support member institutions and job seekers in identifying the regional and lifestyle resources needed to ease the transition to a new job as well as to provide additional information for and about dual-career couples.

Dual Career Network

The NJEPAD HERC provides a dual career network of colleagues from member institutions to exchange CVs/resumes of partners and spouses to help them identify available positions and assist them during the job search process.
