Michigan HERC was established in 2007 as a collaborative response of colleges and universities in Michigan to the many challenges of academic recruitment and retention. Administration is housed at Michigan State University. Michigan HERC’s core values are excellence and diversity in Michigan’s higher education workforce and the promotion of work/life balance through assistance to dual career couples.
Michigan HERC provides a dual career network of colleagues from member institutions to exchange CVs/resumes of partners and spouses to help them identify available positions and assist them during the job search process.
Members of Michigan HERC can connect directly with colleagues from member institutions by using the member directory, as well as access resources and information in our dual career community.
