Michigan HERC was established in 2007 as collaborative response of colleges and universities in Michigan to the many challenges of academic recruitment and retention. Administration is housed at Michigan State University. Michigan HERC’s core values are excellence and diversity in Michigan’s higher education workforce and the promotion of work/life balance through assistance to dual career couples.
