Michigan-Ohio-Western Pennsylvania-West Virginia HERC (formerly known as the Michigan HERC, etc., 2007 & Ohio-Western Pennsylvania-West Virginia HERC, est. 2014) is a collaborative response of colleges and universities to the many challenges of academic recruitment and retention. The MI-OH-WPA-WV HERC is composed of a diverse group of public and private colleges and universities, medical schools, world-class teaching hospitals, and research centers, and is comprised of Michigan, Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. The Michigan State University is the lead partner institution for MI/OH/WPA/WV HERC.
MI/OH/WPA/WV HERC provides a dual career network of colleagues from member institutions to exchange CVs/resumes of partners and spouses to help them identify available positions and assist them during the job search process.
Members can connect directly with colleagues from member institutions by using the member directory, as well as access resources and information in our dual career community.
