Michigan HERC Regional MapMichigan HERC was established in 2007 as collaborative response of colleges and universities in Michigan to the many challenges of academic recruitment and retention.  Administration is housed at Michigan State University.  Michigan HERC’s core values are excellence and diversity in Michigan’s higher education workforce and the promotion of work/life balance through assistance to dual career couples.

Regional Governance

Michigan HERC Advisory Board is a self-governing consortium, with each member institution able to play a role in making decisions and shaping its future.  An Advisory Board drawn from member institutions provides policy and operational oversight.  *Emeriti/ae Board Members
