SoCal Dual Career Toolkit provides general information for assisting dual career couples. The information includes job searching resources, relocation and community information, eldercare and childcare resources, recreation opportunities and much more. You can use this information to find resources you need, or you can download these resources and provide them directly to the dual career partner/spouse. Click on the interactive map below to view the toolkit resources in your area.

SoCal HERC Directory lists contacts in the Southern California Region. Click on Member Institutions, search the member institution directory, find a HERC member at the target institution, and send a message or directly contact them about assisting your dual career partner/spouse.

About SoCal HERC
SoCal HERC, established in 2003, is a non-profit organization composed of a diverse group of colleges and universities, and research, medical, and cultural institutions. Member representatives include faculty, staff, human resources professionals, institutional leaders, and faculty relations experts. SoCal HERC includes members from the Central Coast, Los Angeles, Orange County, Inland Empire, and San Diego. SoCal HERC Is led by San Diego State University and has an advisory body drawn from its member institutions.
Southern California HERC (SoCal HERC) supports the efforts of each of its member institutions to recruit and retain outstanding faculty, administrators, and staff through the sharing of information and resources.
