The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities has advocated on behalf of Hispanic-Serving Institutions since its founding in 1986. HACU represents more than 500 colleges and universities in the United States, Puerto Rico, Latin America, Spain and school districts throughout the U.S.

 

The mission of HACU is to Champion Hispanic Success in Higher Education. The Association fulfills its mission by: promoting the development of member colleges and universities; improving access to and the quality of postsecondary educational opportunities for Hispanic students; and meeting the needs of business, industry and government through the development and sharing of resources, information and expertise.

 

HACU partnerships includes those with organizations committed to diversifying their workforce and reaching the next generation of aspiring leaders.
