Rescheduled-AI in Recruitment follow up with Kat Kibben-April 26th at 10:00 a.m.

When:  Apr 26, 2024 from 10:00:00 AM to 11:00:00 AM (ET)

Join us for our rescheduled second event with Kat Kibbens on AI in the Workplace, Best Practices.

Friday, April 26 at 10:00 a.m.

As is always the case with Kat, the first session was dynamic and full of so much valuable information.  Among the many topics that were discussed, we learned how to humanize recruitment while eliminating bias, why AI won’t be taking your job any time soon, measuring success and getting the results you want, and addressing bias with hiring managers and technology.  The video and resources from the March 19 event, including the “Inclusive Hiring Workbook” and PowerPoint slides, are now available through the HERConnect platform at:  Link to Video and Resources.

Some if the topics Kat will cover in this second event:

  • How can we ensure AI tools for screening faculty/staff candidates do not disadvantage people from underrepresented groups? What data and oversight are needed?
  • How do we address potential biases in existing employee or applicant data used to train AI screening models?
  • How will the use of AI impact the candidate experience applying for and interviewing for roles? What steps are needed to ensure a positive experience?
  • What types of performance data and feedback loops are needed long-term to evaluate whether AI tools are having their intended impact on hiring outcomes?
  • How do we encourage diverse applicant pools for roles even if certain fields have existing diversity issues?

Bring additional thoughts and questions to this final session in our Spring Series on AI in Recruitment!
