The Northwest HERC (NW HERC) (formally known as Greater Washington State HERC (GWS HERC) established in 2013 and Greater Oregon HERC (GO HERC), established in 2012), is a non-profit organization composed of a diverse group of colleges and universities as well as research, medical, and cultural institutions. Select corporations are eligible to join as associate members. Member representatives include faculty, staff, human resources professionals, institutional leaders, and faculty relations experts. The NW HERC includes members from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska. The NW HERC is governed by an Advisory Board drawn from its member institutions, and University of Washington serves as the lead partner institution.
The NW HERC provides a dual career network of colleagues from member institutions to exchange CVs/resumes of partners and spouses to help them identify available positions and assist them during the job search process.
NW HERC members can connect directly with colleagues from member institutions by using the member directory, as well as access resources and information in our dual career community.
