
The Upstate New York HERC (UNY HERC), established in 2006, is a non-profit organization composed of a diverse group of colleges and universities as well as research, medical, and cultural institutions. Member representatives include faculty, staff, human resources professionals, institutional leaders, and faculty relations experts. The UNY HERC includes members from the Upstate New York Region Capital Saratoga, Central Leatherstocking, Finger Lakes, Chautauqua-Allegheny, Niagara Frontier, the Adirondacks, and Thousand Islands. The University at Buffalo serves at the lead institution.

The Upstate New York Dual Career Sub-Regional Resources provides general information for assisting dual career couples. The information includes relocation and community information, childcare resources, recreation opportunities and much more.
